THE ORCIA VALLEY
The Orcia valley is an area in central Tuscany, near Siena and Grosseto. It is renowned all over the world and is run through by the river Orcia, It's a magnificent quiet valley featured by gentle, carefully cultivated hills with traditional cypresses, occasionally broken by ripening fields of wheat and vineyards with picturesque renaissance towns and their historical sights (Pienza and Montalcino). in 2004 the Val d'Orcia was added to the Unesco list of World heritage Sites. Remember to take photos of its enchanting countryside or just paint it as a souvenir of Tuscany!
You can buy olive oil, Pecorino cheese, Brunello red wine, the Pici, traditional pasta, and plenty of other fresh produce (fruits) in every shops while strolling into the ancient towns, you will taste tuscan traditional flavours!
