Erboli Residence is in the Chianti countryside in Tuscany, near the town of Cavriglia.

While you are driving along the 408 Chiantigiana road near Cavriglia, you turn left at the crossroads leading to Montegozi. After 700 metres, you get to Erboli Residence, at the second gate on the left.

At Erboli Residence, you just have the impression that it's a very neat self catering rental apartment resort with a tidy lawn. After the entrance gate, you will find a tuscan villa on the left and some restored pigsties on the right. There are two vending machines for snacks and drinks in the hall. It leads to a vaulted lounge with a TV set and a WI-FI access point, a table tennis and a pinball machine. Tourists can get into there 24-hour-round without any reservation.

The villa and the old pigsties have been restored into fourteen fully equipped self catering apartments to rent, all with a private entrance. They are all air conditioned. Restoration has been using original building materials (travertine, terracotta, wood) and apartments have been pictured ochre as it was used in Tuscany. There is a wide farmyard in front of the villa, a lawn with a gazebo where all tourists can go 24-hour-round without any reservation at any charge: it's a very cool place to relax in the summertime. There are also some benches in the alleys bordering the lawn; tourists can comfortably sit and taking in an amazing view across the vineyards.

You get to a swimming pool going down some steps after the alleys. It has terracotta tiled edges and surrounded by a wide lawn.
