The "Palio di Siena" dates back to the XVth century, it's a reckless enthralling horse race representing the pride of the contrade
(streets), Siena neighbourhoods. The Palio takes place twice a year, on July 2nd and August 16th.

The "Giostra del Saracino" in Arezzo dates back to the XVth century, on the penultimate Saturday of June at night and on the first
Sunday of September in the afternoon. It's a joust where jockeys with a lance, dressed up as knights, have to hit a wooden small
image featuring an ancient Arab.
